Deep Relief Essential Oil RollOn for Dog Back Pain
A few years ago Bandit injured his back and sometimes he gets stiff from it and you can see he feels quite uncomfortable. Bandit loves the Young Living essential oils and often we let him choose which oil he wants applied.
Last summer his back was bothering him pretty badly and I asked him if he wanted Palo Santo, he didn't give his usual positive response. So I went to my essential oil case and held various bottles of essential oils about 12 inches from his nose and asked him if he wanted this oil. He still didn't give me his usual 'yes' sign and I was running out of options.
Instead, he walked over to the coffee table and pushed a new essential oil that we had just gotten in, Deep Relief RollOn. I picked up th Deep Relief and said, "do you want oils?" and there was his yes response. It took some effort to apply the deep Relief as I have to move his long hair out of way so the ball of the rollon applicator could make contact with his skin, but we did it. About 10-15 minutes later he was feeling much better. So now he has two favorite essential oils, Palo Santo and Deep Relief!
Young Living Oils Eliminate Stinky Dog Smell in My House
Our homes and vacuum cleaners can get mighty smelly from our doggie best friends. Even thought we give Bandit a bath once a month there are still times he can get pretty smelly. To keep our home and vacuum fresh smelling I have found that diffusing for 15 minutes a day, using either Thieves or Purification essential oil blends in a nebulizer diffuser eliminates doggie odors right away - the essential oils kill the bad smells, rather than mask odors.
Two added benefits of diffusing Thieves or Purification is that both help to prevent mold in our house and kill unwanted germs that can cause colds and flu. Note: only the Nebulizer Diffuser will work against mold.

Add Palo Santo to Lavender Shampoo
When we bathe Bandit, once a month, we always use Young Living's Lavender Shampoo and several drops of Palo Santo essential oil. We keep Bandit lathered up for 20 minutes as this provides adequate time to kill any fleas and ticks. We have been doing this combination for years - it smells amazingly nice and keeps the bugs off my boy!
Fleas & Pets
To help to make your cats flea free, put 1 drop of Purification in the palm of your hand; rub cat’s neck & paws. Do monthly.
Hot spots & allergies
My son's dog had a sore spot on his backside that was not healing. I gave him some lavender oil. I suggested that he put the oil on the spot and to "seal" it with Animal Scents Ointment. This would help to keep the sore covered and for the essential oil to aid in the healing.
Within a few days there was a noticeable difference and in a week the sore was healed and the hair was growing back
Palo Santo for Ticks
When we find a tick embedded on our dog we immediately get out our YL Palo Santo essential oil. Move the dogs hair back with fingers so you can clearly see the embedded tick, dip one drop of Palo Santo onto the tick, wait a couple minutes, then pull the tick out of the skin.
